Luke and I have been home almost a week and things are going very well. Luke is adjusting perfectly. Mary now goes to his room first thing in the morning because she wants to give him hugs and kisses. I’m still learning how to juggle two kids at once but I couldn’t be happier!
The weather has been amazing here so when Matt got home from work we decided to go on a family outing to the boardwalk. After about 35 minutes we finally got the kids and the double stroller in the car and off we went.
Being a little lady of no constraints, Mary sat in the stroller for no more than 10 minutes before lobbying for her freedom…and succeeded. We walked down the sidewalk closest to the river and enjoyed the lights and Christmas music. Mary soon became our biggest form of entertainment!:
Before leaving the Boardwalk, we filled our bellies with Fuddrucker burgers! We sat there in the restaurant proudly displaying our family for all to see. Mary and Luke both did pretty well.
It was getting close to bedtime so we packed the kiddos back in the car and both were asleep before we arrived home. Matt and I just sat in the quiet of the car before trying to move the kids. We listened to some music, goofed off and recited our favorite quotes from one of our favorite sitcoms, Psych.
It was a great night!
So glad you are having fun with your sweet babies. Mary is soooo adorable in that vid, btw.
hugs to you both
